Our Baby Keeps Growing!!

We had one of our routine doctor's appointments on Friday, and I am now measuring 40 weeks...which is mildly concerning since I was only 35+3 weeks at the appointment.  The doctor believes that I am measuring ahead because the baby is so big, however she wants us to have another ultrasound just to be sure that there is not too much fluid in the amniotic sac (aka polyhydramnios).  Since the doctor seems confident that nothing is wrong, we are going with the assumption that Noah is just going to be a very big boy and we will wait to find out more on Tuesday at the ultrasound! Until then, there is no sense in worrying about it!

I've Finally Done It!!

So after many months of encouragement from my "blogging friends," I have finally created a blog for my family! We have had such a busy and exciting last couple of years, and things are about to get even more hectic in our household!

To sum up the last few years, after 5 and a half years together, Ben finally proposed...Then we bought a house, got married, and are now expecting our first child any time in the next couple of weeks!  Noah Patrick Havens is due on September 7th, but his mama is hoping he will make his appearance just a teensy bit early :)

I will post pictures of my growing belly as soon as I learn how!!  As I said, I'm new to this whole blogging thing, so any advice on how to use this from the blogging pros would be greatly appreciated!!
